The Flash cast Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West
Another speedster is set to trail-blaze his way on to The Flash , this time it is Wally West. He is to be portrayed Keiynan Lonsdale is set to play West. The actor is known for his role as Uriah in Divergent.
Notably, CW The Flash‘s version of Wally West takes its cue from Future’s End narrative comic arc. Previous looks of the character was depicted as a redheaded Causcasiod.
Official description for the character reads:
Keiynan Lonsdale will be joining ‘The Flash’ this winter in the role of Wally West, an iconic character from The Flash Universe who became the speedster known as Kid Flash.
The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke on the casting
Just like when we met [series lead] Grant [Gustin] for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero. We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.
We also recently found out that ex-WWE wrestler Adam Copeland was cast as Atom-Smasher a few weeks back.
The Flash season two is scheduled to debut on The CW October 6th 2015
