Guillermo del Toro steps away from DC’s Justice League Dark feature

It seems Guillermo del Toro is no longer attached to the Justice League Dark project, THR reports.

We suspect there are various strands at work re this new development. One is the shuffling of ‘risque’ DC Comics and Vertigo title films from WB Entertainment to be subsequently released via sub-company New Line Cinema.

Another issue may prove to be new engagements for Del Toro. Can you say Hellboy numero tres?!

Justice League Dark is however still at Warner Bros., and seeing they have been made part of the regular roster of heroes in DC Comics, ideally DC entertainment wants their films to follow suit.
