Gambit losing Channing Tatum?
Trouble may be brewing over at Marvel / 20th Century Fox slice of franchise paradise. Channing Tatum is reported by The Wrap to be leaving Gambit. Which seems a bit weird given it has been a role he has been vary vocal about wanting to play, even showing enthusiasm over the direction of the narrative.
It has been suggested that self-directorial projects could be the reason for the departure… and of course if this is all true to begin with.
Well let’s hope this gets cleared up, because if Fox wants to hit their release date, they’ll have to start production pretty soon. And not having a lead actor may not be a favourable place to start for director Rupert Wyatt
Gambit is set for release on October 7th 2016
