Mark Hamill wants in on Batman: The Killing Joke animated feature

With the announcement that had every comic fan shedding pearl-white tears of happiness mixed with blood, Batman: The Killing Joke was announced to be getting the animation treatment. Stepping asside from the impending controversy such a project could mustre up, Mark Hamill is far from discouraged in wanting to be a part of it. I mean he really wants in. But as who? The man of the hour of course: Joker.

Hamill has been a fan favourite to play the joker, hell even before the announcement of Batman: The Killing Joke animation. And he surely is keeping his fingers crucified for that DC Comics call:

Quintessentially, Batman: The Killing Joke was a definitive moment in DC History that helped define the complex character that is the Joker, a tragic character that falls into psychoses. Mark Hamill seems keen on playing the clown, and with fans pushing, things may just work out in his favour.
