Holy Zeus of Thunder! Xbox looks like they are pulling out the stops with the latest trailer for Halo: Nightfall. The mini-series looks to introduce many pivotal characters that will be making their grandiose entry in Halo 5: Guardians. Most notable is Commander Jameson Locke (“The Good Wife” actor Mike Colter).

Taking obvious hints from films like Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, who, by weird coincidence, is the Executive Producer for Halo: Nightfall. I’m guessing 343 Industries benefited from any left over props from the Alien prequel.
The trailer boasts brassy sounds and outworldly aesthetics and design that makes for good sci-fi viewing. By the looks of things, Halo: Nightfall certainly towers tall over Halo’s previous cinematic effort Forward Unto Dawn. Hell, it may just be T.A.P. whitelisted.
