Apparently, this isn’t the first time the Telltale Games and Gearbox have come together to do the creative tango, having worked together on Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2; Gearbox elaborates on wanting to make the Borderlands franchise more than just a shoot ’em up FPS, but show deeper, richer interactions via Telltale’s infamous choice-based style of gameplay. The fact that we are still buzzing off of The Pre-Sequel, this new styled gameplay which takes place within the Borderlands universe and sits snugly on the timeline of things, not just some concept, one-off game, opens fans to greater possibilities and fresher perspectives.

You pretty much thrown reluctantly into an excursion in hunt for loads of cash, a payload which they are unwilling to share. But between them and the cash is sprawling landscapes, gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters and crazies, amongst other obstacles.
