Déjà vu? “Red Dead Redemption 2” is delayed. Again.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is delayed. Again. Something that may not come as a surprise to most fans despite Rockstar’s earlier promise to hit the release date grace period of Spring 2018. But the developer Rockstar Games announced today via a social media post that the game is now slated for release later this year. October 26, 2018 to be exact:

But the wait shouldn’t hit too hard, as Rockstar has a knack of building milieu and actually caring about gaming experience, especially with open world games. And you know how complex those can get. So a few months polishing AI and graphics won’t be met with any hostility from us.

But chin up, intrepid fan. The consolation prize is the same as last time – screenshots. Which honestly adds to the anticipation of just how advanced and wide the spectrum is come Red Dead Redemption 2:
