Writers for “New Mutants” revealed

Fox is pushing forward with the X-Men spin-off film New Mutants, and its is reported that the script will be penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. The writers are know for their work on films The Fault in Our Stars and The Spectacular Now.

They will be teaming up with director Josh Boone (who also directed The Fault in Our Stars) and is a big X-Men comic book fan. Simon Kinberg is serving as producer.

The New Mutants characters were also previously released via Josh Boone’s Instagram, and includes Native American Danielle Moonstar, Scots girl Wolfsbane, Brazilian ladies man Sunspot, a Kentuckian code-named Cannonball, the Russian teen Magik, and the alien named Warlock.

And with Fox And Marvel playing nice, with their first joint project being Legion and rumours surrounding crossover titles, marriage between the comic film kingdoms look bright.
