tom ellis lucifer DC comics vertigo. the action pixel. @theactionpixelDC Comics Lucifer is being made into a TV series and it seems they have found their “Old Serpent” to portray him… No, it is not Rupert Murdoch, but Tom Ellis.

lucifer DC comics vertigo. the action pixel. @theactionpixelThe DC Comic title tells the story of Lucifer who is bored of ruling his kingdom, so he abandons it for the City Of Angels, Los Angeles, where he runs a piano bar and takes on a bit of law enforcement helping the LAPD to punish the wicked.

And as it turns out he may just do a better job than Rampart-style law enforcement.

The titular DC title ran on DC’s imprint Vertigo for 75 issues, and is considered a cult classic since appearing in Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series.

Ellis, an English actor, is know for his role in the Merlin series as well as Rush.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman will also executive produce the series slated to be aired on FOX.

Blogger, comic book and anime fan. FPS addict. All very convenient. Known to do storyboards and motion graphics when he's really busy.
