“Preacher” Official Trailer ‘Annville’ released
All the major players are lined up in what sure is set out to be a blasphemous joy ride of a spectacle as teased in the new ‘Annville’ trailer promoting the coming TV series adaptation of DC Comics / Vertigo’s Preacher.

Preacher is set to premiere in 2016 and is based on the Garth Ennis’ Vertigo comic book series of the same name. In the series Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) is a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), the three embark on a journey to literally find God.
Preacher also stars Ian Colletti as Arseface, Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla, W. Earl Brown as Hugo Root, Lucy Griffiths as Emily, Derek Wilson as Donnie Schenck, Jamie Anne Allman as Betsy Schneck and Ricky Mabe as Miles Person.
Preacher premieres 10pm on AMC come Sunday, May 22nd 2016
