superman Colour grade. dc comics, wb. the action pixel. @theactionpixelWe all at one point or another had something to say about Zack Snyder’s Superman. I mean, as colossal as the guy with the ‘S’ on his chest is, his representation on film has had its ups and downs, for the mythos of the character as well as the actors that play him.

But all things aside, it may all boil down to the colour treatment. Often the medium dictates the message, so when Superman gets interviewed in an interrogation room (I find that scene soooo irksome), Supes says the symbol on his chest represents hope. But throughout the film, the colour treatment and grading is bleak beyond measure.

So, the guys over at VideoLab did some cinematic wizardry and posed a simple but resounding question- what if Man Of Steel was done in colour?

See the video in the player below to see what could have been:

“So what do you think, should the next Big ‘S’ film go brighter? Or is it too late for Snyder to veer away from his depiction of Superman? Will we have to wait for another reboot to see a brighter Superman filled with hope and the American Dream? Let us know what you think in the comment section.”
