Lea Seydoux set to play Bella Donna in Gambit

Spectre Actor Lea Seydoux has entered into the Marvel / 20th Century Fox trenches, set to play Bella Donna alongside Channing Tatum for the coming Gambit feature.

Bella Donna in the Marvel comics is a pivotal character in Gambit (Remy LeBeau)’s origin story; they were lovers despite belong to rival guilds (assassins and thieves) in some Shakespearian / Romeo & Juliet love story. The rival guild in an attempt to bring peace amongs the two tribes look to wed Gambit and Donna, but things go tis up when Donna’s brother challenges Remy to a death duel. Remy wins, of course but gets banished from eh guild and New Orleans.

Gambit is set to be directed by Rupert Wyatt.

Gambit is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 7^th2016
