Krypton Series in development

It seems DC Comics are keen in populating the TV screen as well as the silverscreen with superherodom.But with this latest addition of a developing series from DC’s roster, the worlds being explored are the ones that exist before the superhero, in the same way Gotham looks at a world before the Batman. This time we look at the off-planet world before Kal-El was even born: Krypton.

The series is being developed by David S. Goyer and SyFy, and will explore the world of Superman’s birth Krypton, through the protagonist of Kal-El’s grandpappy. Ian Goldberg is set to write the script based on a story co-developed with Goyer, who has been responsible for a lot of DC Comic- live action series.

And with TNT bringing us Nightwing and the Titans in the new year too, we can’t help but notice 2015 may be the year of superhero origins.
