It is often said that the medium is as powerful as the message. As such, Claudia Puhlfürst has created a comic that you can not see.
Juana Knits the Planet is a comic strip that follows the narrative of a woman crafting the stuff of afflatus: music and nature. The strip however does not exist on paper or in pixels. In fact it exists on a microscopic level, etched into a strand of hair with a focused ion beam.
A truly remarkable statement, the idea that ideas exist as small, fickle things that are like mustard seed, bearing in them near-limitless power and potential.
