Jake Gyllenhaal will not be Suicide Squad‘s Rick Flagg
We recently reports of Jake Gyllenhaal becoming the replacement for Tom Hardy, but apparently he was being a favourite to play the part of Rick Flagg in DC Comics Suicide Squad. Our bad. But in any case ot doesn’t matter now as Jake Gyllenhaal has wallked away from the role too.
It has come to light that Tom Hardy departure from the role was not because of other film obligations, but the actual script and screen time. Actors want to say a lot in films and be seen it seems. But we suspect what made Hardy walk away from the film is the same thing that made Gyllenhaal pack up shop too.
So Suicide Squad as of this moment is without a Rick Flagg, and we are just wondering what would make to actors walk away from the role. Does Flag get planted in the ground permanently? Is his role more auxiliary than the others?
While director David Ayer goes hunting for yet another actor to play Flagg,Suicide Squad boasts an all-star cast: Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis is said to be in talks to play Amanda Waller.
