Published

Today Marvel made an announcement that Howard the Duck, the satire spitting, angry and anthropomorphic private eye will be recieving a new series to start in March 2015. The series will be helmed by  Joe Quinones, established Marvel artist and Chip Zdarsky, who people may know as the creative force behind Image Comics’ Sex Criminals. Revealing finer details such as the redesign and a discussion of the themes, this looks to be a great addition to any fan’s collection, and a great jumping on point for everyone else. THE ACTION PIXEL @theactionpixelThe last time Howard the Duck appeared in his own comic was in 2001, but has appeared more recently in box office favourite Guardians of the Galaxy.  Featured in the collection of the “The Collector”, and in the post credits scene. Now, I won’t spoil anything, but he’s still got his same classic wit. Seems now it was perhaps a taster for this new series. I have no doubt that next they’ll be announcing a new movie soon. Please don’t ruin this one, Marvel.

Howard the Duck’s new series goes on sale on March 4th 2014
