Gina Carano joins Deadpool cast
Gina Carano is certainly on a few of our fantasy lists. One of those fantasy lists that is safe to mention on T.A.P. was our choice for Wonder Woman in Batman V. Superman.
But it seems she will be making a stand in another comic book universe film alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool. Carano’s character will be Angel Dust, part of the Morlocks group of mutants in the X-Men / Marvel Universe.
And with Carano being an ex-MMA fighter on the world stage, you can be confident in the fact if she needs to kick some ass, she will probably have enough moves in her mental roller deck to dig in to.
Deadpool will be directed by Tim Miller and produced by Lauren Shuler Donne and features Ryan Reynolds as the “Merc With The Mouth” assassin for hire who’s seeking a cure for his cancer. Filming begins in March and already Reynolds has been teasing us.
Fox / Marvel’s Deadpool release date is slated for February 12th 2016
