Daniel Brühl’s Baron Zemo set to be main villain in Captain America: Civil War
Daniel Brühl of course we know is playing baddy Baron Zemo in the coming Marvel cinematic feature Captain America 3: Civil War, and as it turns out, he’s set to be the main villain.
Elisabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age Of Ultron and coming Civil War, dished out the info during an interview with French media outfit Premiere:
Brühl is an incredible actor and he’s playing the main villain in it. And he’s incredible! It’s a movie about people as opposed to robots this time. So it’s darker and it’s allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines.
A side show to the real face off, for all we care. Because who doesn’t want to see Stark and Rogers talk it out with their knuckles?
Captain America: Civil War is directed by the Russo brothers Anthony and Joe who also directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The film returns Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron) as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3) as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: The First Avenger) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3) as The Vision, Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Avengers) as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3) as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla) as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
