Captain America the synthetic man concept art. The Action Pixel. @TheActionPixelDid anyone see the little easter egg in the concept art by Adam Brockbank that was done for Captain America: The First Avenger. Well if you look closely to the left of the above image, you’ll see the Underwater Cities of the Future. That’s Atlantis to you and me, home of none other than Namor.

In the concept art render you will also see references to the Human Torch, aka “Synthetic Man”. Marvel’s Invaders is a superhero group that is comprised of members Human Torch, Namor and Iron Man himself, as well as Spitfire and Toro. In the comic series, they were the greatest superhero team that fault for the Allies in World War II.

Captain America: The First Avenger‘s director Joe Johnson stated some time ago that the Invaders would appear in the first Cap’n movie, but rescinded by saying the ‘Invaders’ was just a spitball name for Steve Rogers’ team.

We doubt well delve any deeper into Namor making an appearance, or the Invaders, nothing pass a wink and a nod to the audience. Seeing Captain America 3 will be stock, lock and loaded with cameos from Iron Man and the coming Civil War conflict, any intros of new characters and scenarios would be a stretch.

In any case you’ve got to love the concept art that goes into Marvel films. Reminds us of the Captain America Concept art expo they had a while back for Winter Soldier.
