“Batgirl” film is rumoured to be in production

It seems former Avengers director Joss Whedon has changed teams. It is reported the director is currently spearheading a DC feature for none other than Batgirl. If he were to official come on board the Batgirl film he’d essentially write, direct and produce the film according to Variety.

batgirl has become quite the household name over on DC’s imprint, and hasn’t been one to shy away from a little controversy. But the introduction of Batgirl would probably prompt some shared Snyder / DCEU efforts, and it woud be interesting to hear Whedons thoughts and the mechanics of DC compared to the oiled machine of Marvel Studios.
