Now we’ve said this before. Despite Venom doing the miraculous numbers in the box office, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse feels like the true flagship nexus film that Sony Pictures should hitch all their wagons to when it comes to their Marvel endeavours.

And now with the release of this exclusive clip, this notion seems to be even more valid. Lithe animation, humour down to the *bagel!* onomatopeia and the comic book stylisation of the art… near flawless.

Description reads:

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
