“Samurai Jack” returns in a full Season 5 trailer, and Aku is not the only demon he’s fighting
It seems the promise of a darker Samurai Jack was not too off the mark, as a new trailer reveals our hero going off the rails a bit as the effects of not aging and being stuck in a time not meant for him slowly erodes his resolve and sanity. Season 5 also seems chocked with more fluent animation and adult themes, so it looks like Samurai Jack has aged somewhat with the taste of his earlier fans, even though he has stopped ageing himself.
Description reads:
It’s been 50 years since we saw Samurai Jack and time has not been kind to him. Aku has destroyed every time portal and Jack has stopped aging, a side effect of time travel. It seems he is cursed to just roam the land for all eternity.
