DC Comics, with their recent animation escpades in the Batman and JLA side of things with the likes of Dark Knight Returns and, Year One, that S.O.B. Son Of Batman and Doom, it’s been a promising rise to an new cherished age of quality animation coming out of the DC camp.

So, we remember coming across this animation early this year and felt kinda warm and fuzzy inside. Justice League: War looks epicly awesome. Obviously in part a ploy to fan the flames and pave they way for the cinematic juggernaut hitting cinemas in 2017 (fingers crossed). Check out the trailer above if you haven’t seen it.

After the events of Justice League: War, Ocean Master and Black Manta have declared a war against the surface in retaliation of the aftermath of Apokoliptian-tyrant Darkseid’s planetary invasion. Queen Atlanna seeks out her other son, Ocean Master’s half-brother Arthur Curry, a half-human with aquatic powers with no knowledge of his Atlantean heritage, to restore balance.

Living with powers he doesn’t understand and seeing the danger around him, Curry takes steps to embrace his destiny, joining the Justice League, and with his new teammates he battles to save Earth from total destruction.

Voice talent will see Jerry OConnell as Superman, Christopher Gorhham as the Flash, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Jason Omara as Batman and Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman.

See a teaser taster of the animation (around 40 seconds in) in the player below:
