ascension. the action pixel. @theactionpixelMountaineering was like a real in thing back in the olden days, the equivalent of us going to the gym, except you seldom hear gym goers dying of hyperthermia or a sudden drop from 1000’s of feet to the ground below. Ascension reminds us of the good ol’ days of the early 20th century.

ascension. the action pixel. @theactionpixelSo when these two mountain climbers decide to all willy-nilly take a statue of the Holy Mother up the tallest, snow-capped peak, things start to come apart. And it’s mostly captain stumpy over there.

Ascension was made by Thomas Bourdis, Martin de Coudenhove, Caroline Domergue, Colin Laubry and Florian Vecchione at Supinfocom Arles in 2013. Music by Seth Stewart.
