When we heard Castlevania was coming to our TV screens… finally, we were elated. Oh, a Netflix series, awesome.

Then we heard about the anime series would be on the same wave length of Game Of Thrones. Rated R?! Well, that sent us over the edge near self-stimulation. Now the Netflix Castlevania series has unveiled its first poster image for the series. Spoiler – it’s awesome and blood red.

Adi Shankar teaser the poster image via his Facebook, and it seems to back up his plans and overall sentiment for what fans can expect come Castlevania.

Castlevania the animated series Season 1 is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2017. Season 2 premieres in 2018
