Naughty Dog goes sci-fi with announce trailer for new game “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet”

Naughty Dog took the proverbial and literal stars with the release of a trailer for their forthcoming project that looks quite different from anything they have taken on prior. This foray is a sci-fi one, and it goes truly into the final frontier. Well, the hope is it will remain true to story, not just virtue signalling anyway.

The hunt is most certainly on in the most recluse and dangerous of quarry and territories, a deadly bounty hunter Jordan will have to find a way to escape the Bermuda triangle of the unknown known space that is Sempiria.

I do like the character in this; time will tell if the story compels.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is the newest franchise in development for the PlayStation 5 console from Naughty Dog, the studio behind acclaimed series like The Last of Us and UNCHARTED. Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
