It gets dark
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 ups the notch with the shady anti-hero villainy type, force of nature with the introduction of Shadow. So if you love Knuckles, be prepared to be giddy.
And the world is about to get a lot darker as the trailer boasts a non-cursed meme Sonic and a action-packed sequence that by all appearances dwarfs the efforts of the last two movies. So, in our books, that can be chalked up as a win.
