DC Comics brightest day may just be ahead of them as the Green Lantern Corp begins to take form with some key casting announced for the DC tv series Lanterns. Half head of DC Studios–James Gunn– and the team over at the WB/DC camp took to socials to announce two key castings to the TV series.
TV’s greatest unicorn Kyle Chandler has been recruited to represent none other than the titular Hal Jordan in the HBO live-action series Lanterns.
This news sharply followed news of DC giving the lime green light in casting of Rebel Ridge’s Aaron Pierre to star as John Stewart.
The casting news comes after news of Nathan Fillion being cast as the brash Green Lantern Guy Gardner in the coming DC movie Superman.
Now with DC reaching its Lantern trinity, undoubtedly further developments will include narrative and first looks of the greatest intergalactic squad known to the comic-verse.
They did good with the casting. Hope you guys know the fan casting you guys partake in is probably floating someone’s job over at DC.
