“Wonder Man” – a newly-announced Marvel + Disney Plus series – signals the return of ‘Iron Man 3’/’Shang-Chi’ actor Ben Kingsley

Marvel Studios’ operation flood continues as news of a Disney Plus show looks to bring the return the loathed Mandarin “imposter” that made Iron Man 3 a joke and ultimately transformed him into a Studio Ghibli villain-turned-pathetically adorable cretin in Shang Chi.

Who we are talking about. Ben Kingsley’s character, of course. And he returns to play the titular role of failed crisis actor  Trevor Slattery in the upcoming Wonder Man Disney Plus series.

Early reports claim the upcoming Wonder Man series is set to be Hollywood satire, as it has been established that Slattery is a failed actor and Wonder Man has been an actor and a stuntman in the comics.
