The code of the Jedi, like a splinter in the mind, rises once again in the once-championed, once-victorious General turned nomad in the Disney Plus series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

And in what has seemingly been the most cinematic Star Wars Disney Plus outing to date, the teaser trailer teases the epic epilogue to the story and impending fate of Kenobi.

Order 66 is in full effect, and the hunt for Jedi still looms. And some new players are in tow as the Empire efforts in the region may be too dire to ignore, and drawing out the recluse into the Light.

The trailer seems to feature a young Luke being spied on by his future Master. Nothing wrong there. And whilst there is no Darth Vader featured yet, a particular nemesis seems to be effectively carrying the mantle and the same energy.

Chills all around, then.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold
