Valiant Comics’ “Harbinger” is being made into a feature film

Valiant Comics’ venture in the comic book movie space may have missed the target with Sony Pictures’ Bloodshot, but the publisher has another iconic franchise of theirs currently in development over at Paramount Pictures that already has top talent attached to it.

Director Wes Ball, known for his part helming Maze Runner, has joined forces with Shang-Chi and The Ten Rings‘ writer Andrew Lanham to being work on a new feature based on Valiant Comics franchise title Harbinger.

As the comic series goes, the world plays host to the battleground where a race of evolved superhumans known as Harbingers battle for supremacy. One of the most powerful harbingers recruits and trains others to be a part of his private army to carry out his goal of conquering the world. A young harbinger, Peter Stanchek, joins forces with a resistance group of harbingers to fight back and save the world.

The film has been in development for quite some years, but if talent is now being attached, we are sure this is indicative of being the bearer of good news.
