Marvel Studios has begun film production on the sequel of the Black Panther movie – Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And it is understandably an emotional journey, considering the film will be going ahead without the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular character T’Challa aka Black Panther.

Marvel’s film head Kevin Feige spoke on the raw emotions involved in the production during a Black Widow Fan Event in LA:

It’s clearly very emotional without Chad. But everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud.

Production begins in Atlanta, and seas Ryan Coogler return as director, as well as the actors Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett – all returning to their respective roles.
