Henry Cavill has made purposeful moves to erect himself at the pinnacle of all fandom. Playing Superman in the DCEU, the Witcher in the Netflix series, and now, seemingly, has set his sites on a new franchise… a gaming franchise to be more precise. It would seem the actor is in the process of having a key role in Mass Effect project.

And while Cavill’s caption said we’d have to wait to find out about the ‘secret project’, internet sleuths are neither good at waiting or following instructions, and managed to decipher the blurry script text seen on the paper in the image using a text-recognition software:

Following the events on Tuchanka and a failed coup by Cerberus to take over the Citadel, the quarians offer their support to the Alliance if Shepard helps them reclaim their homeworld, Rannoch, from the geth.

Mass Effect fans will instantly make sense of this. And as for who will Cavill play in this project. The reported rumour is he will take on the role of Commander Shepard.

It is also reported that Mass Effect will be a live-action full-length movie as opposed to a streaming-bound TV series.

More as things develop.
