It has been a while since the fateful period where all Netflix Marvel projects befell one-be-one starting with the likes of Iron Fist and ending with Daredevil. And as such the live-action rights have also ultimately been returning to the mothership – Marvel.

The latest live-action rights to officially revert back to Marvel has been for the Punisher and Jessica Jones characters/franchises. The news of Netflix cancelling for series was announced around 2 years ago, and since then the rights have now returned to Marvel/Disney

And considering Marvel Studios’ push for more content on Disney Plus as well as cinema come Phase 4 and beyond, this is most undoubtedly great news for them.

As for if, when, and where these characters will appear in the scope of Marvel Cinematic Universe is anyone’s guess. Punisher for a Moon Knight appearance? Jessica Jones making leeway on a She-Hulk episode? Who knows.

More as things develop.
