Netflix reports “Umbrella Academy” Season 3 is a go

After the cliffhanger Umbrella Academy Season 2 has left us with, it is only fair that Netflix would follow that up with a whole new weather report. Umbrella Academy is slated to return to the streaming platform with Season 3.

The new season will surely be exploring the new parallel dimension they have ended up in. And maybe, you know, the end of the world and all existence. Common theme we thinks.

Matter of fact, production on the third season is slated to begin next year in February 2021.

The Umbrella Academy series is based on the graphic novel of the same name. The comics were created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy is a live-action series that follows the estranged members of a dysfunctional family of superheroes (The Umbrella Academy) — The Monocle, Spaceboy, The Kraken, The Rumor, The Séance, Number Five, The Horror, and The White Violin — as they work together to solve their father’s mysterious death while coming apart at the seams due to their divergent personalities and abilities.
