Is the “Hawkeye” Disney Plus show playing host to Madame Masque?
All will ultimately be unveiled…
While news has been pretty quiet about the Hawkeye spin-off series since that last bit of casting news (which may or may not have to do with the ugly public divorce proceedings involving star Jeremy Renner), but the first piece of ‘news’ that has permeated the zeitgeist is actually a rumour.
According to The Direct, the Hawkeye Disney Plus series will play host to a villain hailing from another side of the MCU. Madame Masque, better known for her villainous exploits against Iron Man is reported said to be appearing in Hawkeye.
Furthermore, it is reported Madame Masque will be serving as a “supporting role” in the Disney Plus series.
Masque is depicted as the on-and-off love interest to Iron Man and his alter-ego Tony Stark; she wears a gold mask that once stood as part of her healing process when her face got disfigured. She however kept it on after it did its work, and has been known to be a superb combat strategist and markswoman. Albeit criminally insane. We suspect their marksmanship will both be put to the test if the rumours turn out to be true.
