The only way to beat it is to break the cycle, but the ever-changing landscape will keep you on your toes. Hence, the concept of learning from your mistakes does not apply as much as being adaptive.

Returnal description reads:

Returnal combines action with roguelike gameplay into a third-person shooter where players fight to survive a hostile planet that changes with every death.
