Death Note is certainly one of the cult classics in the world of Manga and Anime, without a doubt. The Dorian Gray-looks married with the sociopathy of one Light Yagami has been subject of many a debate. And though Netflix adaptation fell on infertile ground, it seems Shonen Jump are far from retiring Ryuk for his indulgent hit of that sweet sweet apple alongside creating some human mischief and getting a front-row seat to the chaos that ensues from one person given the power of the Death Note.

So, thank your blessed stars because a special one-shot of Death Note is available online to read for free. And it looks like demon Ryuk has found new suitors for his continuing quest of studying humans behaviour at its worst.

Admittedly, Light has been pretty sociopathic with his illustrious run with the Death Note, He has scribed countless names in the mythical pages that brought about the deaths of countless criminals and just anyone who stood in his way as kira. But nothing quite churns the gut more than this panel in the new comic:

Like the nuclear button in the hands of this oaf wasn’t a disturbing enough thought.

It is a good read, but don’t just take our word for it. Read the full manga here.
