It seems the fervour is at a high-pitch since HBO announced after the end of the Game Of Thrones series that fans would be able to look forward to the sequel House Of The Dragon. And this still makes us hopeful despite the lacklustre end to the prolific GOT series.
Now HBO has revealed news in the territory of a release schedule. The series will not likely debut until 2022. And though main production has not started on the series, HBO has assuredus the writing room is a buzz as writers are “breaking story right now”.
House of the Dragon will be set 300 years before the events of the show and the books, detailing how House Targaryen and their dragons rose to power.
House Targaryen ruled over Westeros for 300 years, before Robert’s Rebellion ended their reign.
In Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen marked the last of the Targaryen family.
