New Transformers movies in development; enlists ‘Army Of The Dead’, ‘Zodiac’ writers

Since last Bumblebee graced our screens with the better iteration of Transformers movies, it looks like Hasbro and Paramount are out to recreate some Robots In Disguise magic with news of new Transformers movies in the works.

The movie already has writers attached. Joby Harold will be part of the team penning the script. Harold is the co-writer for the upcoming Zack Snyder-helmed zombie flick Army of the Dead.

James Vanderbilt, writer know for his penning of David Fincher’s Zodiac is also working on a Transformers script separate and currently independent from Harold.

The battle must go on, and Hasbro seems to be taking a multi-narrative arc approach that could lead potentially many cross-arching and diverging avenues. Let’s see how that works out for them.

Let’s just hope it just avoids any branch offs from The Last Knight.
