A “Power Rangers” reboot is happening. Not that one. A whole other one.

The Power Rangers movie that took to the cinemas some time ago looks to have not done the numbers or reach the critical acclaim that Lionsgate expected, and as such the franchise is back on the market awaiting a whole new reboot. And it seems Paramount is next up to the task, as the company recently acquired the film rights to develop a movie based on the franchise.

Paramount Pictures is reportedly in early negotiations with Jonathan Entwistle, who is best known for his Netflix series “The End of the F***ing World”, to develop a new take on Power Rangers for the studio.
