DC Comics’ “Shazam! 2” movie gets a release date

The Shazam! sequel has been in the plans for WB since Zachary Levi donned the red and gold suit, it is now however that we have a scheduled release date announced

Shazam! 2 joins in on the flurry of WB Pictures projects that have had their release date announced. And despite his childish disposition even in superhero mode, Billy Batson will return as the magic-charmed Big Red Cheese on the day of Fools – April Fools to be exact – April 1, 2022.

And given the recent announcement made by the Rock, who is coming to the DCEU as Black Adam, his solo movie also unveiled a release date and its place as a building block for a new atrium of the DC Universe. As far as when can fans expect the two to converge on screen, that’s still some ways off.
