Marvel releases the first Black Widow teaser trailer
To Russia, with love and scissor kicks
All roads lead to Russia, the hotbed of everything geopolitically a-moral (putting it kindly). And Natasha Romanoff takes a road trip home to settle some family affairs it seems after the break-up of the Avengers in the first teaser trailer for the Black Widow movie.
And, being Russia, it is as you would expect. The accents, ballet, and espionage up the yazoo. And notably, it looks like ScarJo is getting down and gritty in the appearance department. Take note Wonder Woman 1984. But let’s hope the movie does not turn out too Anya, Atomic Blonde and the rest of those sexy espionage spy thrillers that littered cinema in 2018/2019.

And can we get some appreciation for David Harbour’s Red Guardian aka Alexei Shostakov? We get a further good look at the Romanoff household with an introduction to character Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh, Midsommar and Fighting with My Family alum actor). Belova is Nat’s fellow agent.
