Hideo Kojima’s plans after “Death Stranding”? Horror.

With gamers equally revering and unsure about recently released tour-de-resistance that is Death Stranding, many might be wondering what the creator Hideo Kojima may be up to. Well, it seems the ex-Konami creative powerhouse has great plans to restore the feeling of Silent Hills PT.

Kojima apparently has his sights set on his next video game project. And contrary to the genre-busting sensibilities boasted by the current Death Stranding game, the creative developer will be looking to create within an established genre – horror. More concisely, Kojima is looking, in his own words, “to make the scariest horror game”. Ever.

And as much as we are pussies when it comes to jump scares, it looks like Kojima is aiming to place himself in existential dread take in as much research as possible by watching “scary movies in order to awaken my horror soul”.

Konami must be fuming. Good for them.
