We are bound to hear countless recitements of the Green Lantern oath as word has come out that Greg Berlanti is bringing a new DC TV show to the forefront – Green Lantern. The show is slated to be housed, however, not by the CW but by HBO Max streaming service.
The show will be based on the characters from the iconic DC comic, and whilst Hal Jordan or John Stewart has not been mentioned as the main characters, one may take this as a sign that the show will focus on a few other new members of the Corps with canon characters possibly making debuts.
Also making its way to us is another lesser-known DC title. Strange Adventures is a superhero anthology series featuring “close-ended morality tales about the intersecting lives of mortals and superhumans” from the DC universe. It’s based on the comic series that debuted in 1950 as a science-fiction anthology and was recently revived in 2009 and 2011.
More as things develop.
