Things get messy as factions, armies, mercenary killers and terrorists all share the same stage of a growing civil war in the new story trailer for the rebooted Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.
And with the variables ignited to fever-pitch with the introduction of chemical weapons and WMDs in the hands of terrorists, the war threatens to consume not only the world, but the morales of the so-called righteous who fight it.
It is an ugly state of affairs, my friend. And we personally love that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to be a strong return to the more complex, compelling storytelling from the COD franchise.
On October 25th, when the world is threatened, you’ll have to get your hands dirty so the world stays clean. In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. The fight will take you from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles through betrayals, moral dilemmas, and no-win situations to stop full scale global war. Lines will be drawn, your resolve will be tested, and the world will look to you to do what needs to be done.
