“DOOM Eternal” teases a new experience – Battlemode

Ever wondered what battle royale mode in the belly of hell would actually look like? Well, Bethesda Softworks/iD Software are not one to shy away from taking a gander as they tease Battlemode, a unique experience coming to the DOOM Eternal game.

The teaser premiered at the E3 event, and shows gamers can duke out in a variety of multiplayer versus action, including playing as demons or a DOOM slayer in 2 VS 1 multiplayer mode, and more.

Description reads:

Introducing BATTLEMODE, DOOM Eternal’s brand-new 2 versus 1 multiplayer experience built from the ground up at id Software. A fully-armed DOOM Slayer faces off against two player-controlled demons, duking it out over three rounds of intense first-person combat. See the teaser trailer now and stay tuned for more information about the exciting new game mode at QuakeCon 2019. Pre-order DOOM Eternal to receive a DOOT Revenant Skin for use in DOOM Eternal multiplayer called BATTLEMODE, a “Cultist Base” Master Level, and a throwback Shotgun weapon skin.
