Xbox E3 event gave us a more in-depth look at the next game in the prolific Halo franchise – the Halo Infinite game. Microsoft is revealing that Halo Infinite will launch alongside the company’s next-generation console, codenamed Project Scarlett.
Description reads:
The Master Chief returns in Halo Infinite – the next chapter of the legendary franchise launching holiday 2020 with Project Scarlett. Developed by 343 Industries for Xbox One, Windows 10, and Project Scarlett, Halo Infinite continues the Halo 5: Guardians storyline and takes the franchise in ambitious, unexpected directions.

The game is being dubbed the “spiritual reboot” Halo franchise introducing a new generation of players to the game. Chris Lee, studio head of Halo Infinite, spoke on the game’s synopsis:
This story will mark the beginning of a new chapter and challenge for the Chief, but it will also respect and continue threads that led to this point. If you’ve never played a Halo game before, this will be a great place to jump into the story.
