The hunt is on in “Predator: Hunting Grounds” reveal trailer
No mistaking that snicker.
IllFonic, the team behind the Friday the 13th video game, is set to return to the hunting grounds tracking new quarry. The coming game, channelling all the bravado and the 1980’s sci-fi jungle fever that was Predator is now the IP that should prove fertile for an asymmetric, cooperative/competitive multiplayer game.
Predator: Hunting Grounds has been confirmed to launch come year 2020 on PlayStation 4. The game was revealed at Playstation’s State of Play event.
And judging from the teaser, we’ll be better equipped to deal with the threat this time around compared to Friday The 13th. But when the threat is an alien with high-tech weaponry and the master of stealth and combat, those human military weapons soon look more like water guns filled with Tabasco sauce.

Drop into the Predator universe through a new competitive online multiplayer experience. Play as an elite Fireteam charged to complete paramilitary operations while a Predator mercilessly hunts you. Or, BE the Predator, armed with all the deadly alien weaponry you’ve grown to love and pursue your prey. The Hunt Begins 2020.
