“Aquaman” first look images reveals Arthur Curry’s family tree
Aquaman doles out some more first look images for the DC film, featuring Orm and Queen Atlanna via Entertainment Weekly.
Orm is Aquaman’s half-brother (enough for tension there already) and is played by Patrick Wilson. And it looks like Orm is about to declare war and take on the surface dwellers. In the comics, Orm is also know as Ocean Master and is set to be the main villain in the Aquaman film. Character description reads:
Nicole Kidman’s character is Queen Atlanna, the mother of Aquaman.
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman is playing the mother to Aquaman, Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Ludgren is King Nereus.
Aquaman is slated for cinematic release come December 21st 2018
